Arrive at the Meeting Point: Payap University PIH Student Dormitory.
The anticipation begins as you gather with other participants at the meeting point. The gentle hum of excitement fills the air as everyone prepares for this once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience. Shuttle buses depart every 5 minutes from 14:00 to 16:00, ensuring a seamless journey to the enchanting venue.

Arrival at the Venue and Registration
Upon arrival, you’ll show your e-ticket and receive a hanging badge and a delightful souvenir, a keepsake to cherish this magical night. Explore the vibrant Craft and Art Zone, where artisans demonstrate their skills, or wander through the Tribal Village, alive with traditional music and colorful attire. Indulge in local snacks and experience the delicate art of Loy Krathong, where you’ll create your own floating krathong as a symbol of letting go and inviting good fortune.

The moment everyone has been waiting for – the lantern release. As you light your lantern, make a wish and release it into the night sky, joining thousands of glowing lights ascending like stars. The spectacle is breathtaking, accompanied by a dazzling display of fireworks, symbolizing joy and new beginnings.

End of Ceremony and Transfer Back
As the evening concludes, cherish the serene and joyous atmosphere before boarding the shuttle back to the city. You can select a convenient drop-off point at Maya Shopping Mall or Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, where the city’s lively energy continues. Please note drop-off points may vary depending on traffic conditions.

The ticket price are quote in THAI BAHT (THB), there is no discount for children who are 8 years old and above. Those under 8 who require a seat need to pay the same rate as adults.

Thank you for booking with H.I.S. Please carefully review the following important information regarding your participation in the Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival
- This package includes round-trip transportation by songthaew (a local shared vehicle), organized by the event host (CAD). The tour price includes transportation from the designated meeting point, admission to the Chiang Mai CAD Khomloy Sky Lantern Festival, and applicable VAT (tax).
- Please note that accommodation, airfare, and transportation to/from the designated meeting and dismissal points are not included and must be arranged independently by the customer.
- All transfers are arranged and operated solely by the event organizer. The vehicles are not under the management of H.I.S., and H.I.S. bears no responsibility for any issues or delays related to transportation provided by the organizer.
- Departure times for transfers are subject to change without prior notice at the discretion of the event organizer.
- Customers are strongly advised to review the reservation confirmation document in advance. Please save or print a copy on your mobile device for easy access on the day of the event. Guests often experience difficulty locating this document onsite.
- The event will be held regardless of weather conditions, including rain.
- Meals will be provided in the form of a buffet or food stalls. As some popular items may sell out quickly, we recommend arriving at the venue early to ensure a full selection.
- Please be advised that the event involves the use of open flames, such as lanterns and torches. H.I.S. cannot be held liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur. We kindly ask that you exercise caution and remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
- Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at the event venue. As this is a Buddhist cultural event, we request all participants to dress respectfully—long pants or skirts and clothing that covers the shoulders are required.
- Event schedules and contents are subject to change without notice due to crowd conditions or as determined by the event organizer.
- All organizer-arranged transfers are shared rides and may include multiple guests.
- Please take appropriate precautions to safeguard your personal belongings, and remain mindful of fire safety throughout the event.
- Large luggage, including suitcases, is not permitted at the event venue.
- Strollers are not allowed in the seating area of the lantern release. Guests traveling with young children are kindly requested to bring a baby carrier.
- Children under 7 years of age may join free of charge; however, no individual seat or lantern will be provided. If a seat and lantern are desired for the child, a separate ticket must be purchased.
